Pregnancy is a transformational time of your life. Not only is your physical body going through miraculous changes- but so is your mind and your heart! Being pregnant during the time of COVID-19 may add a layer of stress, anxiety, and uncertainty. To support you through this beautiful and crazy time, we invite you to join our 6 week VIRTUAL Prenatal Yoga Series hosted by Soul Yoga & Instructor Allyson Elliott.
Prenatal yoga supports moms-to-be in connecting to their bodies and growing babies. Stretch and strengthen the body while creating resiliency in the mind that will support you throughout your pregnancy, during labor, and into motherhood- all from the comfort and safety of your own home.
Each class will include safe and functional movement that is adapted for a home practice. You will learn a new meditation and breath technique each week that can be used throughout your pregnancy as well as in your labor and delivery. We will target common areas of discomfort during pregnancy such as addressing sciatica and lower back pain. You will be surrounded by a community of women who are going through pregnancy during COVID-19.
This series is open to all stages of pregnancy. No prior yoga experience is necessary!
