You are enough.” The 1st time I really heard those words was during my 1st savasana at Soul, and I smiled. Weeks later was the 1st time my soul believed those words during a savasana, and I wept. The power of this practice, this studio, these teachers... it is so hard to put into words, but this is what I keep coming back to, here I learned I was enough, and the power of that is magic! So when the opportunity came to study and train with Jamie to become a certified yoga teacher and help others discover this, I knew I needed to apply. Soul Yoga’s 200 YTT program is incredible! With a team of the best instructors following Patanjali’s eight limb path, this training covers in-depth anatomy training for safe cueing and sequencing, pranayama, meditation, Sanskrit, and different styles of yoga such as yin, ashtanga, vinyasa, etc. This training also touches on trauma-based teaching, tips for pre-natal yoga, working with the nervous system, how to use props, and so much more! Jamie’s overall knowledge of this practice, her love, support, and her incredible team make this training powerful, challenging, and so life-changing! Using the emotional, physical, mental, and spiritual aspects of this ancient practice in a beautifully crafted, multifaceted training that will prepare you, as a teacher, to provide a safe space for students to explore themselves. To explore this path through themselves and to help them realize that they too are enough. A million times enough!

YTT with Jamie at Soul is something very special. If you’ve ever taken a yoga class with Jamie, then you already know that she is an amazing yoga teacher. After taking her YTT, I can say she is also amazing at teaching people how to teach! Jamie knows how to take very experienced teaching techniques and methods and break them down to be attainable and sensible for even new teachers. She teaches with a deeper intention and purpose, understanding each of her students needs, strengths, and skills, and she lovingly nudges all her students towards growth. This YTT program really was top notch, high quality everything, from the amazing Anatomy section with Heather, to Trauma-informed content, safe and sensible sequencing, and more. At the end of the program, I had never seen a group of brand new yoga teachers so prepared to teach and confidently hold space as this group. In a culture where it seems like there are YTT programs everywhere these days, if you want to be a high quality, knowledgable space holder and amazing yoga teacher, Soul YTT is the place to learn. <3
