Join Pam for a 6-week Kirtan Kriya Meetup on Mondays from 12:10-12:30 (after 11:00 Slow Flow) from Oct 7th through November 11th.
Kirtan Kriya is a meditation practice that involves chanting the sounds saa taa naa maa (coming from the mantra Sat Nam), combined with finger movements (mudras) and visualization. Practicing this meditation for 12 minutes a day may improve sleep and memory and reduce stress and inflammation.
Starting Monday, October 7, 12:10-12:30, we’ll meet up to learn and practice Kirtan Kriya. According to yoga philosophy, it takes 40 days to build a new habit. You’re encouraged to practice this meditation daily between meetups (it only takes 12 minutes!). You can bring your own meditation cushion or use the props at the studio. If you’ve been wanting to start a regular meditation practice, this is a great place to begin, with the support of our Soul community. There is no charge to attend, but donations will be accepted. 100% of proceeds will go towards funding yoga packages for community members currently in need of a helping hand.
No experience is necessary. While we encourage you to join us each week, you can pick and choose which dates to attend.
