Ayurveda, translated as ‘The Science of Life’ is a sister science to yoga. It is one of the oldest practices of medicine that we know, but it is also a way of being in the world and living in balance/harmony with nature. In this class, we will come together to discuss all things wellness. We will look at the five elements and how they play a role in the making of our bodies, our environment, and our lives. We will explore some of the core principles of Ayurveda and how to apply them. We will talk about seasons, doshas (mind/body types), and maybe even desserts (definitely food). Our workshop will be a well-rounded introduction to the practices and practicality of lifestyle medicine. Join me as we dive sweetly into our interconnectedness.
